Artist's note
Every piece begins with a photograph I have taken of something I wanted to keep. Even when an image feels complete, this process lets me remove the details I see as imperfections and reimagine it in new ways.
Using AI as a creative tool, I explore styles inspired by artistic media I have not worked in myself, but love. The finished works are digital prints, not paintings or drawings. Each piece brings together my original photograph, my eye for what to keep or change, and new tools that make a different kind of image possible.
